Harris County, TX (March 18, 2019) – In the early hours of Sunday morning at around 5:00 a.m. Sunday, the police and emergency medical crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near the 10111 block of Houston Oaks Drive.
According to police, the driver of a red car was involved in a street race when they struck a pedestrian along the roadway.
The injured pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
