Orange County, TX – Andres Escamilla Hospitalized For Injuries Sustained In Multi-Vehicle Crash On Interstate 10

Orange County, TX (March 19, 2019) – Around 3:15 p.m. Sunday, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10.

According to DPS, a 2018 Ford Fusion was traveling westbound on I-10, followed by a 2015 GMC Yukon and a 2014 Dodge Durango.

Traffic congestion forced all three vehicles to stop along the roadway. Unfortunately, the driver of a GMC Denali, which was hauling a travel trailer, was unable to control his speed. The driver of the Denali crashed into the rear end of the Yukon, causing a chain reaction of accidents. The Yukon was pushed into the rear end of the Dodge Durango, which was then pushed into the rear end of the Ford Fusion.

The driver of the Yukon, who was identified as 30-year-old Andres Escamilla, from Corpus Christi, and his passenger were both transported to the hospital for treatment.

Our thoughts go out to those who were injured in this crash and their families as we hope for their complete and expeditious recoveries.
