Denton County, TX – Brian Callahan Killed In Train Crash On Hickory Hills Boulevard

Denton County, TX (March 20, 2019) – On Monday, March 18, around 6:45 p.m., police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash on Hickory Hills Boulevard.

According to police, 61-year-old Brian Callahan was traveling down Hickory Hills Boulevard near Interstate 35E when his truck was struck by a Denton County Transportation Authority Train. The train was traveling around 60-MPH at the time of impact.

Callahan was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. An investigation of the incident determined that the crossing arms were down at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
