Lewisville, TX – Injury Accident On I-35 E Causes Major Delays
Lewisville, TX (March 20, 2019) – On Wednesday, police and Texas Department of Transportation reported to the scene of an injury crash on I-35E.
Just after 9 a.m., Hickory Creek police responded to the scene of a crash on I-35E between Lewisville Lake Bridge and Garden Ridge Boulevard. The crash involved a silver minivan and a white passenger vehicle. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police report that two female drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
One of the women sustained serious injuries while the other sustained life-threatening injuries. Hickory Creek Police Sgt. John Causseaux reported that the second woman was removed from life-support early Wednesday, but no further information has been released.
