Pedestrian Fatalities In Texas

San Antonio, TX – Charter Bus Hits And Kills Woman Near The 100 Block Of St. Mary’sIn 2017 alone, over 600 victims died in pedestrian accidents across Texas. Those involved in pedestrian accidents often sustain serious and life-threatening injuries because the human body is virtually defenseless against vehicles weighing several thousand pounds. The possibility of catastrophic injuries is compounded if a person is struck by a larger vehicle, like a bus.

When pedestrians are killed, surviving family members can contact a Texas wrongful death lawyer to help them file a legal claim against the at-fault driver. Although these lawsuits are unable to bring back the individual who lost their life, they can provide grieving families with the compensation necessary to take care of medical and funeral expenses.
