Odessa, TX – Besi Pena Killed In Rear-End Crash At Faudree And Highway 80

Odessa, TX (March 22, 2019) – On Thursday, around 4:30 p.m. police and first responders reported to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Faudree and Highway 80.

According to police, a found-vehicle crash at the intersection occurred when Besi Liseh Ortez Pena was driving an SUV and failed to control her speed. As a result, her SUV rear-ended a Chevy Silverado truck. The collision caused a chain-reaction crash involving another truck and SUV.

Besi Pena was pronounced dead at the scene. Our warmest condolences go out to the Pena family as they deal with this very tragic loss.
