Corpus Christi, TX – Bicyclist Injured in Bicycle Accident on North Shoreline Boulevard

Corpus Christi, TX (March 23, 2019) On the morning of March 23rd, a bicycle accident happened near the 300 block of North Shoreline Boulevard, just before Lawrence Street. According to the reports, a red Ford Escape and a bicycle were traveling in the same direction when the Ford struck the bicyclist as it attempted to turn on Lawrence Street. The accident reportedly took place at around 9:00 a.m.

When the paramedics arrived, they found the bicyclist suffering from bruises and transported the injured victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The police are currently investigating the accident, but it appears as though the bicyclist was not riding in the bicycle lane. Instead, the bicyclist was riding in a lane designed and blocked off for pedestrians only. Further investigation will determine who will end up liable for this accident.

We hope the bicyclist fully recovers from any sustained injuries.
