Smith County, TX (March 24, 2019) On the 22nd of March, a three-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of 15 and 346, just west of Paluxy.

According to the reports, the impact of the crash caused crews to shut down the lanes, which backed up traffic in all directions.

Firefighters had to redirect traffic until the accident was cleared. Emergency crews tended to all injured parties as necessary and transported those who needed further treatment to nearby hospitals.

The accident is still under investigation as police work to determine causation and liability.
