Ellis County, TX – 5 Killed in Fatal Head-On Collision on State Highway 34

Ellis County, TX (March 24, 2019) On the morning of March 24th, a fatal head-on collision happened on State Highway 34, near Bardwell.

According to the reports, a white 2012 Dodge 1500 pickup truck was traveling westbound on the highway while a black 2010 Ford Crown Victoria was traveling in the opposite direction.

The Dodge pickup truck veered into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on with the Crown Victoria at around 10:15 a.m. The accident occurred just west of Highview Park Road.

When the paramedics arrived, they found a total of five people died as a result of the crash.

The authorities are currently investigating the accident to determine what caused the Dodge to cross into the opposite lane.
