Hewitt, TX (March 25, 2019) – On Monday, March 25, police announced that they made an arrest pertaining to the hit-and-run incident last week involving a Midway High School freshman.

According to police, 17-year-old Jahden Loren Brown turned himself in for the hit and run accident over the weekend. Brown was charged with accident involving injury or death and booked into the McLennan County Jail.

Brown admitted that he left the scene of the accident because people were honking their horns.

The girl was clipped by Brown’s car as she walked home from class on Thursday. She was transported to a nearby hospital for a broken wrist and ankle.
