Smith County, TX – Teresa Campos Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 155
Smith County, TX (March 24, 2019) On the 23rd of March, a fatal pedestrian accident happened at around 11:29 p.m. According to the reports, a 2009 Toyota Corolla struck a 27-year-old woman named Teresa Campos on Highway 155, just short of a mile from Tyler.
Unfortunately, by the time emergency crews arrived, she had already succumbed to her injuries. They transported her to Lighthouse Mortuary for further care. The driver responsible has been identified as 71-year-old Willie Hayter.
The authorities are currently investigating the accident to determine what led up to the crash and who had the right of way.
