Austin, TX (March 28, 2019) – On Thursday, March 28, Austin-Travis County EMS, Austin Fire Department, and Austin Police Department responded to a reported pedestrian accident on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 9:13 p.m.

The incident occurred in the 1300 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. According to police, an adult female cyclist was struck by a motor vehicle. The female sustained critical and life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center, where she later passed away as the result of her injuries.
