Humble, TX – 18-Wheeler Crashes And Burns Killing One Results Second Accident With Injuries On Highway 59

Humble, TX (March 29, 2019) – Around 12:45 a.m. on Friday, March 29, police, fire, and emergency crews responded to the scene of an 18-wheeler accident. The accident occurred on the southbound lanes of Highway 59 when a semi-truck slammed into a barricade. After the collision, the semi-truck flipped over and burst into flames. Unfortunately, the driver sustained serious burns in the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

While crews worked to clear the scene of the accident, a second accident occurred along the highway involving five vehicles due to rubbernecking.

Several parties involved in the incident were transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. We hope those injured are able to make a fast and full recovery from their injuries.
