Polk County, TX – William Guy Killed In Motorcycle Accident On Highway 59

Polk County, TX (March 29, 2019) – The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a crash around 1:10 a.m. on March 29.

According to troopers investigating the crash, a 2012 Honda motorcycle, driven by 57-year-old William Guy, was traveling north along Highway 59 when he struck the back of a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck driving by a 67-year old male.

After the collision, Guy lost control of his motorcycle and went off the road into a grassy center median. Guy was transported to Livingston hospital, where he died a short time later from his injuries.
