Texas Truck Accidents
While trucks are a vital part of our economy, they are still potentially dangerous vehicles. A head-on collision with a semi-truck is almost guaranteed to result in severe bodily injury or even death. In 2017 alone, Texas had 254,853 people injured in motor-related accidents. For this reason, Texas continues to rank amongst the highest states for truck and car accidents.
However, many of these accidents are the result of negligence. Truck drivers must adhere to strict safety guidelines that are meant to protect the lives of other motorists. Whenever a truck driver disregards these regulations set in place by using their phone, radio, or rubbernecking, they put countless lives at risk.
