Austin, TX – Earnest Turner Dies From Injuries In I-35 Pedestrian Accident

Austin, TX (April 2, 2019) – On March 17, Austin Police Department responded to a pedestrian accident on Interstate 35.

The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. when 53-year-old Earnest Turner attempted to cross the eastbound lanes of Interstate 35. As he proceeded across the lanes, the driver of a Silver Nissan Altima struck him in the area between East Riverside Drive and Cesar Chavez Street.

Turner was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center immediately following the incident. Unfortunately, on March 30, he succumbed to his injuries.
