Malam Cnty, TX – Crystal Ranslem & Nathan Ellard Killed In FM 485 Crash

Malam County, TX (April 2, 2019) – On March 31, Cameron Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of a head-on collision on FM 481.

The incident occurred around 8 a.m. According to police, 20-year-old Nathan Ellard was traveling westbound in a 2005 Mazda when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2018 Nissan SUV driving by 32-year-old Crystal Ranslem head-on.

Ellard was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. Ranslem was transported to Scott & White Medical Center where she later passed away as the result of her injuries.
