Austin, TX (April 3, 2019) – Just before 8:40 p.m. on April 3, Austin Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on West 22nd Street.

An individual on an electric scooter attempted to pass through the intersection at West 22nd St and San Antonio St without stopping when a Jeep struck him. The victim was ejected from his scooter. He was transported to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep was uninjured in this collision.
