South Austin, TX (April 3, 2019) – Around 10 p.m. on April 2, South Austin Police Department responded to the scene of a collision on East Slaughter Lane.

According to reports, 27-year-old Garret Davis was attempting to turn left off East Slaughter Lane in his 2017 Subaru Forester when he was struck by a 1996 Chevrolet truck traveling west. Both Davis and his passenger, 27-year old Keaton Carmley, were killed instantly. The driver of the Chevrolet was injured.
