San Angelo, TX – Distracted Driver Injures One On Chadbourne Street

San Angelo, TX (April 4, 2019) – On Wednesday, April 3, San Angelo Police Department responded to the scene of a collision in the 300 block of South Chadbourne Street.

According to investigating Officer Welch with the San Angelo Police Department, the driver of a silver Dodge Durango dropped his phone and became distracted behind the wheel. As a result, he failed to control the speed of his vehicle and rear-ended a maroon GMC Sierra pickup truck.

The occupants of the Durango were uninjured in the collision. The driver of the Sierra was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
