Houston, TX – UPDATE** Bicyclist Dies After Hit & Run Accident Near Alabama & Hutchins Rd

Houston, TX (April 8, 2019) – On Sunday, April 7, Houston Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a bicycle collision.

The incident occurred on Alabama near Hutchins Road. According to witnesses, a group of bicyclists was traveling northbound along Alabama when a white pickup truck drove through the group. The white truck struck a male on a bicycle and fled the scene of the incident.

None of the other bicyclists remained at the scene of the incident, so they are unsure if the group was actually traveling together. The bicyclist has died as the result of injuries sustained in the collision.
