Beaumont, TX – TX-105 Crash Leaves Two Seriously Injured

Jefferson County, TX (April 8, 2019)- Around 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a serious collision on Highway 105 near Tram Road.

According to troopers, a 2008 Nissan passenger vehicle was traveling west along Highway 105 when it crossed the center dividing line and crashed head-on into a 2005 Ford pickup in the eastbound lane.

Both occupants of the Nissan, 30-year-old Timothy Edwards, the driver, and 21-year-old Tammy Kennedy, were transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital by ambulance in serious condition.

The driver of the ford, 43-year-old Derek Petree, was uninjured in the collision.

We hope Both Mr. Edwards and Ms. Kennedy are able to make a full recovery from their injuries. Our thoughts and prayers are with them both.
