Conroe, TX – Leslie Davis Killed In I-45 Collision

Conroe, TX (April 9, 2019) – Late last week, on April 4, Conroe Police responded to the scene of a collision on Interstate 45.

According to police, 46-year-old Leslie Davis was traveling north on Interstate 45 in a 1997 Ford Ranger when she decided to utilize the inside shoulder near SH-105 to pass several vehicles on the roadway.

In passing, Davis struck a barrier and bounced back into the main lanes of the roadway. In doing so, Davis struck a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, which caused both vehicles to spin out of control. Davis’s vehicle flipped over several times, causing her to sustain fatal injuries.

The driver of the Suburban suffered some injuries and was transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Our warmest sympathies go out to the Davis family. We hope the driver injured in this collision is able to make a fast and full recovery.
