Houston, TX – Woman Killed In Pedestrian Accident On Aldine Mail Rt Rd

Houston, TX (April 9, 2019) – Around 9:45 p.m. on Monday, April 8, Deputies responded to the scene of a collision along Aldine Main Route Rd, near the Eastex Freeway.

According to police, Laquria Williams was trying to cross the road when she was struck by a white or silver Chevy SUV traveling along the inside lanes.

Williams was thrown several hundred feet down the roadway and landed in the middle of the road. The driver of the vehicle got out to look at the victim before fleeing the scene.

Williams was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
