Baytown, TX (April 10, 2019) – On April 9th, after 12:00 p.m., Baytown police responded to a pedestrian accident in the 3500 block of West Baker Road.

According to police, a 5-year-old boy left his home through an unlocked door, without his parents’ knowledge. The child wandered out into the street, where he was struck by a Nissan Juke Sport being driven by a 20-year-old woman.

The child suffered head and neck injuries and was transported to Memorial Hermann by Life Flight.
