Houston, TX – Jada Mimms Arrested For Double Fatal Crash on N. Shepherd Dr & 10th St

Houston, TX (April 10, 2019) – On March 31st, Houston Police responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on North Shepherd near West 10th Street.

According to reports, Lesha Adams was assisting a man in a wheelchair, who has been identified as Jesse Perez, across the street when they were both struck and killed by a motor vehicle. The driver of the car fled the scene of the collision but returned around 30 minutes later.

Both Ms. Adams and Mr. Perez succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

On April 9th, Houston Police announced that 21-year-old Jada Mimms has been charged for this incident.
