Houston, TX (April 11, 2019) – Just after 9 p.m. on April 10, Houston Police responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident in the 12100 block of Westheimer Road.

According to police, a woman was crossing the road when she was struck by a speeding red Dodge Challenger in the westbound lanes. The woman was thrown onto the back end of the car and carried several blocks before the driver stopped the vehicle.

The victim was confirmed deceased at the scene of the incident.
