El Paso, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on I-10 East

El Paso, TX (April 14, 2019) On the morning of April 14th, a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash occurred on I-10 East close to Corral Drive. The fatal accident took place at around 5:00 a.m. A vehicle struck a pedestrian and continued to drive off without stopping.

When the paramedics got to the crash site, the pedestrian had already died from their injuries. Crews shut down the eastbound lanes for about five hours while they conducted a thorough investigation. They reopened the lanes at around 10:00 a.m.
