Jasper County, TX (April 14, 2019) On the morning of April 14th, a fatal vehicle crash happened on County Road 120. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck was headed southbound when it somehow left the road and struck a tree at around 1:00 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived to help, they found the 17-year-old driver, Jarvis Samuel Wilson, dead inside of his vehicle. A 15-year-old male passenger suffered injuries and was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment. Another 17-year-old passenger was also taken to the same hospital for critical injuries, but she passed away despite life-saving procedures.

The police are investigating the accident and running a drug and alcohol test on Wilson since the accident took place in the middle of the night.
