San Antonio, TX (April 14, 2019) On the morning of April 12th, a fatal pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Saltillo Street and Sabinas Street. Official reports reveal that a train struck 23-year-old Giovanni Panszaorosco while he was walking on the train tracks.

When emergency crews responded to the accident, they found Panszaorosco dead at the scene. The San Antonio police, the Union Pacific Railroad Police, and the medical examiner’s office are currently investigating to determine the facts. So far, a Pacific Union engineer claims he honked his horn to warn Panszaorosco, but for some reason he remained on the tracks.
