Harris County, TX – Child Killed In DUI Crash On HWY 249

Harris County, TX (April 15, 2019) – On April 11, 35-year-old LaTonya Harrison was traveling along Highway 249 in an SUV with her two children, a 3-year-old daughter, and a 12-year-old son, named JoAnthony, when their vehicle was struck by a white Infiniti car, just before midnight.

Both Ms. Harrison and the 3-year-old child were transported to an area hospital for observation. In the collision, 12-year-old JoAnthony sustained serious injuries and was transported to Houston Northwest Hospital. According to authorities, JoAnthony has since passed away from his injuries.

The driver of the Infiniti was impaired at the time of the collision.
