Fatal Collisions In Texas
In Texas, over 3,700 victims lose their lives in automobile collisions annually. Sadly, over 28% of victims lose their lives in motor vehicle accidents where a driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol while operating their vehicle.
When drivers enter roadways under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they are placing others on the roads in immediate danger. Drivers under the influence are less equipped to control their vehicles, especially when children are under the influence. When these accidents result in the loss of life, surviving family members are able to contact a wrongful death attorney in Texas to hold the at-fault driver accountable.
