Austin, TX (April 17, 2019) – Around 1 a.m. on April 17, Austin Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on E Stassney Lane.

The incident occurred at the intersection of East Stassney Lane and South Congress Avenue. According to reports, a driver was on his way to work, heading north along Congress Avenue, when he struck a male crossing the street at the intersection.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
