Austin, TX – Violent Crash Kills One On FM 973 & Pearce Ln

Austin, TX (April 18, 2019) – Around 10:15 a.m. on April 18, Austin Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision on FM 973.

According to reports, a driver in a truck ran a red light at the intersection of FM 973 and Pearce Lane, right by Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. After running the red light, the truck struck a car, which was turning onto FM 973.

The driver of the car sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased.
