Polk County, TX – Josey Shutter Killed & One Hurt In Crash on FM 1988
Polk County, TX (April 19, 2019) – On April 18, around 8 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a collision on FM 1988 just five miles east of Livingston.
According to police, 28-year-old Josey Shutter was traveling at an unsafe speed going east along FM 1988 in a 2015 Jeep SUV when the vehicle slid into the westbound lane and collided with a 2000 Ford pickup, which was driven by 34-year-old Dwayne Boyett.
Shutter was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. Boyett was injured in the collision and transported to CHI St. Luke’s for medical treatment.
