Tyler County, TX – James Craft Jr. Died In Bus Crash On US 69, 8 Hurt

Tyler County, TX (April 19, 2019) – On Wednesday, April 17, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a church bus accident on US 69.

According to reports, a church bus was traveling into Warren on US 69 when it veered off the highway and turned onto its side and struck a tree after a passenger vehicle pulled out from a driveway in front of the bus.

One man inside the bus, 42-year-old James Craft Jr., was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. Two others, 62-year old Doug Sheffield from Warren and 38-year-old Robert Craig from Wildwood were transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

All of the children sustained injuries in the collision that are not considered to be life-threatening.
