East Austin, TX – One Killed In Pedestrian Accident On I-35 Near 51st St.

East Austin, TX (April 22, 2019) – On Sunday, April 21, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near the 5100 block of Interstate 35 near 51st Street.

Austin-Travis County EMS arrived at the scene of the incident to find a man in his 40s along the roadway. The man was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition. Authorities report that the man later succumbed to his injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
