Austin, TX – 19-Year-Old Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash On Highway 290

Austin, TX (April 24, 2019) – On April 24, Austin Police confirmed a 19-year-old Hispanic male was killed in a three-vehicle collision on Highway 290 on April 18.

According to reports, a Toyota 4Runner was exiting a driveway near 8000 West Highway 290. A Ford Mustang traveling along the roadway attempted to avoid hitting the vehicle but struck the Toyota in the front end. The Mustang then continued into the eastbound lanes where it was struck by a Dodge Ram. The 19-year-old driver of the Mustang was pronounced deceased at the scene.
