Austin, TX – John Monroe Guiling Dies After Crash On North Mopac
Austin, TX (April 25, 2019) – On April 14, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision in the 11200 block of North Mopac.
Just after 11 a.m., a Mitsubishi stopped to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle when it was struck from behind by a 2012 white Chevrolet pickup truck.
The driver of the Chevrolet, later identified as 86-year-old John Monroe Guiling, was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center. On April 23, authorities confirmed that Guiling succumbed to his injuries.
