Cherokee County, TX – Worker Killed In Luminant Stryker Creek Accident

Cherokee County, TX (April 25, 2019) – On April 23, the Rusk County Fire Department confirmed a workplace accident occurred at the Luminant Stryker Creek Power Plant just off FM 839.

According to reports, one worker sustained fatal injuries in an accident at the plant on Tuesday. Details surrounding the incident have not been released; however, Meranda Cohn, the spokesperson for Vistra Energy, confirmed that a workplace accident resulted in the death of one worker at the location.
