Kingsland, TX – Victims Of Williams Lakeshore Plane Crash Identified

Kingsland, TX (April 25, 2019) – On April 21, around 2:45 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a fatal air crash just outside the William Lakeshore Airstrip at Shirley Williams Airport.

DPS reports that two individuals were on board the plane at the time of the crash. The two victims, who have been identified as 69-year-old William Lee Glenn and 66-year-old John Timothy Sharp, were both pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. Reports show that the plane caught on fire, but the reason why is still unknown.
