Holland, TX – Man Killed In Train Crash Near 12515 Mills Road

Holland, TX (April 26, 2019) – On Thursday, April 25, emergency crews responded to the scene of a train collision near 12515 Mills Road just before 11 a.m.

According to police, 36-year-old Jesse Uhrig was traveling east in a 2006 Ford Escape when he drove onto the railroad tracks and was struck by a train carrying 177 passengers. Uhrig was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. No occupants of the train were injured in the collision.

The Texas Department of Public Transportation is conducting an investigation of the incident.
