Houston, TX (April 26, 2019) – On Friday, April 26, Houston police reported to the scene of a collision in the 1300 block of Receda Drive around 7:30 a.m.

According to reports, a child was struck by a motor vehicle at this location in the roadway. Police arrived to find a 7-year-old boy pinned underneath a car. The young boy and his older brother were on their way to school at Clear Lake City Elementary when he was struck by a car at the intersection.

Officers freed the child. He was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
