Denton, TX – 4 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-35

Denton, TX (April 28, 2019) On the morning of April 28th, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in the 2500 block of I-35 South near New Braunfels.

A 23-year-old male was speeding in a Nissan Sentra when he rear-ended a van. The Nissan was then hit by a truck right afterward. The major crash occurred at around 3:00 a.m.

When the paramedics arrived, they found the driver of the Nissan in critical condition and transported him to San Antonio Military Medical Center for immediate attention. Three occupants of the truck were injured and transported to Resolute hospital for treatment.

Crews shut down the highway at FM 1044 exit for about four hours as they worked to clear and investigate the major crash.

Our thoughts are with everyone who sustained injuries in this crash and their families at this time.  We hope for a full recovery for all.
