UPDATE: Harris County, TX – Jolanda Silas and Edwina King Killed in Deadly Accident on Fallbrook Drive
Harris County, TX (April 28, 2019) – On the afternoon of April 27th, a deadly accident occurred at the intersection of 2599 Fallbrook Drive and TC Jester Boulevard. A 16-year-old teenager was driving a pickup truck when he suddenly collided with a black vehicle that had three female occupants. The deadly collision occurred near Veterans Memorial Drive at approximately 2:07 p.m.
When the paramedics arrived, they found two occupants in the black vehicle dead at the scene. One of the occupants had ejected from the car as a result of the crash. The two deceased victims have been identified as 55-year-old Jolanda Silas and 52-year-old Edwina King. The third occupant was critically injured and taken to the closest hospital for treatment. She has been identified as 52-year-old Shawndra King.
Investigators are currently determining what led up to the deadly crash. So far, they’re concluding that speed may have been a factor, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
