Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

Bellmead, TX - 1 Killed in Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Bellmead DriveSadly, 600 people were killed in pedestrian accidents in Texas in 2015. Whenever pedestrians are struck by vehicles at night, it’s usually due to distracted driving, fatigued driving, drunk driving, or poorly lit roads. No matter what, drivers have a legal responsibility to be aware of their surroundings at all times of the day. When drivers are not cautious, they risk accidentally running over a pedestrian and possibly causing a fatality. Sometimes pedestrians can unintentionally make themselves more susceptible to getting hit if they wear dark clothing at night.
