Houston, TX (April 29, 2019) – Just before 1 a.m. on April 28, Houston Fire Department responded to the scene of a fire at an apartment complex on Michigan near Yupon.

Numerous apartments in the complex, as well as vehicles, were damaged in the fire. One of the units is considered to be a total loss. While working on the fires, one of the firefighters at the scene was struck in the back by boards. The injured firefighter was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment to injuries sustained.
