Longview, TX (April 29, 2019) – On April 23, Longview Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a hit and run incident on Green Street.

The crash was reported around 10: 21 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found a male severally injured in the roadway. The male victim, later identified as 62-year-old Harold Garrett, was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
