Orange County, TX (April 29, 2019) – On April 29, around 5:45 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a multi-vehicle collision along Interstate 10.

The incident occurred along the westbound side of the interstate near mile marker 856. According to reports, a passenger vehicle was traveling west along the interstate when it rear-ended a commercial motor vehicle, which was disabled and stopped partially in the roadway.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, who was identified as 25-year-old Tierra Carter, was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment to injuries sustained in the collision.
