Brady, TX – One Injured In Crash On Highway 71
Brady, TX (April 30, 2019) – On April 30, Brady Fire and EMS responded to the scene of a head-on collision on Highway 71.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. along the Highway around FM 2309. According to reports, a passenger vehicle crossed the center lanes and collided head-on with a semi-truck traveling the opposite direction.
EMS arrived on the scene to find the semi-truck driver outside of his vehicle as the truck went up in flames. The driver of the passenger vehicle was trapped inside the car.
The driver of the passenger car was removed from the vehicle and transported to the Heart of Texas Hospital with incapacitating injuries. Crews spent several hours clearing the roadway before reopening it to vehicles.
